Hoopers End

Hoopers End is in Sedgwick, about four miles south of Kendal. It's a barn conversion done by the previous owners. Sleeps nine, four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is on three floors, so there are stairs. They're fine, but standard for this sort of building.

The garden is at the front, with a patio and a table. It faces fields, so you often see sheep or cows. It's quiet.

Inside, there's a living room with a gas stove and a TV. The kitchen has what you need: dishwasher, washing machine. There's a downstairs toilet. The dining table is big, good for a group.

The village has a pub you can walk to. For other things, you'll need the car. Sizergh Castle is less than a mile up the road. It's National Trust, good for a walk around the gardens. National Trust Sizergh Castle.

Kendal is about ten minutes by car for supermarkets. Windermere and the south lakes are maybe half an hour's drive, depending on traffic. There's a farm park nearby, Lakeland Maze, if you've got children with you.

Facilities: all bedding and towels are included. There's parking for a couple of cars. WiFi. We've got a cot and a highchair if needed. No pets, I'm afraid.
