It's a 5 Star place, which means it's finished to a high standard. Underfloor heating downstairs, good quality furniture. They provide bedding and towels.
You can walk to the village pub. It's a proper local. There are walks straight from the door into the countryside.
Kendal is about ten minutes by car. You've got all the shops there. Levens Hall is very close, maybe five minutes away. The topiary gardens are famous. Their cafe is good. Levens Hall.
