Greenfield Cottage 1866

Greenfield Cottage is on the north side of Worthing. It's a semi-detached house built in 1866, as you can probably tell from the name. You can fit two cars on the drive.

The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well looked after. The stairs are a bit steep, as they often are in these older houses.

The kitchen and living area is all one open space downstairs. It gets good light. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. The garden is enclosed with a lawn and a seating area. There's a barbecue out there too.

You can take up to three dogs. We provide a stairgate if you've got small children. Bedding and towels are included.

The beach is about a couple of miles away. You can walk to the seafront from here, but it's a decent walk. Worthing Pier has arcades and cafes. The main town centre shops are a bit further in.

If you drive, you can get to a lot from here. The South Downs are right on the doorstep. Cissbury Ring is an Iron Age hill fort with good views and walks. Highdown Gardens, near Ferring, are worth a visit too.

Arundel Castle is about half an hour's drive. Brighton is 20-30 minutes west along the coast. Chichester Harbour is a similar distance the other way, if you're into sailing or birdwatching.
