The Innkeep is in Watlington, which is a village in Norfolk. It used to be two small cottages attached to the old pub. The oldest bit is from the 1600s. It's attached to the main house, which is the old pub building, where we live. We're right next door if you need anything.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place has been done up quite colourful and interesting, with things we've picked up from different places. Each bedroom has its own TV. Downstairs there's another TV and a speaker you can connect your phone to.
The stairs are quite steep. They're original. You'll want to watch your step.
There's a kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. The bathroom has a bath and a separate shower. Outside there's a private, enclosed garden with a patio. It gets the sun in the morning.
Watlington has a good pub that does food, and there's a train station. The coast is about half an hour's drive away.
For days out, there's a lot within a reasonable drive. Sandringham is close. Castle Rising and Castle Acre are both old ruins you can walk around. For nature, WWT Welney is good for birds. You can get to Norwich, King's Lynn, or Ely fairly easily. Even Cambridge is under an hour and a half by car, or you can get the train.
Facilities: parking on site, bedding and towels included, the kitchen has the basics. Pets are welcome, up to two.
