The Innkeep is in Watlington, which is just outside of King's Lynn in Norfolk. It used to be two small cottages attached to the pub next door, and the oldest bit is from the 1600s. It's attached to the old pub building, where we live, so we're right next door if you need anything.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The bathroom is downstairs and has both a bath and a separate shower. The bedrooms are upstairs. The stairs are the original ones. They're quite steep and a bit narrow.
It's been done up inside. The furniture is a bit of a mix of old things and newer stuff we've picked up. Each bedroom has its own TV, and there's another one in the living room. There's a speaker you can connect to as well. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine.
Outside, there's a private, enclosed garden with a patio. It gets the sun in the morning. There's parking on the drive.
You can bring two dogs. The garden is enclosed, but check the fence yourself when you arrive as some dogs are escape artists.
Watlington has a good pub that does food, and you can get takeaways delivered. The train station is here too, so you can get to King's Lynn, Norwich, or Cambridge without driving.
If you're driving, the north Norfolk coast is about half an hour away. Places like Sandringham, Houghton Hall, and Castle Acre are within a 30-minute drive. For nature, WWT Welney and the National Trust beaches are good for walks.
Bedding and towels are included. Everything is there for you.
