Walnut Cottage
Walnut Cottage is on the Pentney Abbey Estate near King's Lynn. It's one of three cottages here. You drive past the old abbey ruins to get to it.
It's all on the ground floor. Two bedrooms, sleeps four. One bathroom with a shower. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
You've got your own patio and garden area. There's parking right outside. Inside, it's open plan, with a woodburning stove. TV, WiFi, all the bedding and towels are included. No pets.
The estate has fishing lakes you can use. It's about a twenty minute drive into King's Lynn if you need shops.
For the coast, it's about half an hour. Snettisham and Heacham are that way, or you can go up to Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea. The National Trust Holkham site has good information for that area. For walking, the Peddars Way and Norfolk Coast Path are accessible.
If you're interested in the local history, Castle Rising and Castle Acre are close by. Sandringham is about twenty minutes drive.
The other two cottages on the estate can be booked together if you're coming with a larger group.
