Gamekeeper's Cottage is in North Runcton, which is a couple of miles south of King's Lynn. It's a detached cottage from the 1820s, it used to be the gatehouse for Runcton Hall. The garden is enclosed.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a five star, so it's well looked after. Being an old cottage, the ceilings are quite low in a couple of places. Something to be aware of if you're tall.
There's a village shop on site which is handy. The nearest pub and restaurant are about a mile away.
For days out, Sandringham Estate is very close. The Norfolk coast and all the RSPB reserves are about half an hour's drive. King's Lynn itself is a proper old port town, good for a wander. National Trust Sandringham and RSPB.
You're about 40 minutes from Norwich. Cambridge and Peterborough are a bit further if you fancy a city trip.
Facilities wise: there's parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
