Gamekeeper's Cottage
Gamekeeper's Cottage is in North Runcton, just off the A47 near King's Lynn. It's a detached cottage that used to be the gatehouse for Runcton Hall. It was built in 1820. It's on its own, so it's quiet.
It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. You can bring two dogs. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well looked after.
The cottage has a garden that's enclosed, so it's safe for dogs and kids. There's parking right there. Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and a TV. All the bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them.
There's a village shop on-site. A proper pub is about a mile away.
You're well placed here. The Norfolk coast and the beaches are about a half hour drive. Sandringham Estate is very close; you can just drive in. King's Lynn is about ten minutes away. It's an old town with proper shops and some interesting bits by the river.
If you like birdwatching, the RSPB reserves at Snettisham and Titchwell are nearby. Thetford Forest is about forty minutes drive if you want to cycle or walk in the trees.
