St Margaret's Cottage is in King's Lynn. It's a two-up-two-down terraced cottage on St Margaret's Lane, right in the historic quarter. The front door opens straight onto the lane. There's a small walled courtyard out the back.
It sleeps five, with two bedrooms and one shower room. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's been well looked after and updated. The stairs are steep and narrow. They're original.
You might notice some odd bricks in the wall by the stairs. They're old gravestones. There's also a section higher up where the bricks are darker from a fire a few hundred years ago.
The church opposite is St Margaret's. It's a big, old building, part of a priory from the 1100s. You can visit it. The English Heritage and National Trust websites are good for planning visits to local places.
For a day out, Sandringham House is about fifteen minutes by car. The north Norfolk coast, like Holkham or Brancaster, is half an hour away.
Inside, there's a dishwasher and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
