Rafters Barn is near Downham Market in Norfolk. It's on a farm, but it's quiet. The cottage itself sleeps four, has two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well kept.
The farm has shared facilities. There's an outdoor heated pool you can use in summer. A games room in one of the other barns. And there's a hot tub and sauna. You can walk around the farm grounds. There's coarse fishing on one of the ponds if you bring your own gear.
Inside, it's a barn conversion so there are beams. The stairs are a bit steep, as you'd expect. There's a patio area with a table and a BBQ that's just for this cottage.
You'd need a car. The local shop and a pub that does food are about a mile and a half away in the village. Downham Market is ten minutes drive. It's a proper market town with supermarkets and a few places to eat.
For days out, the north Norfolk coast is about forty minutes. Hunstanton has a beach and the sea life centre. Sandringham is half an hour. Oxburgh Hall is close by, maybe fifteen minutes. It's a National Trust moated house. Good for a walk around.
Facilities are all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside. No pets, I'm afraid.
