This self-catering apartment at Ewenny Farm Guest House makes a great base for your break on the Heritage Coast. Located in Ewenny, a typical Welsh village in the Vale of Glamorgan, the guest house is nestled in a plot of parkland with the River Ewenny running through the grounds. The apartment overlooks the grounds and enjoys an outdoor seating area, perfect for summer evenings. The accommodation is modern with a generous kingsize bedroom, workspace and en-suite shower room, plus a bespoke kitchen living space. The living space has an L-shaped seating-cum-dining area, a wall mounted TV and patio doors to the terrace area.
The Vale of Galmorgan is home to Wales’ Heritage Coast with miles of stunning coastline, beaches and typical Welsh towns and villages. The Vale is also home to some world class golf courses, renowned surfing beaches, and lots of coastal walks, forest trails, park and gardens to explore. There are some ‘must see’ attractions in the area so be sure to tick them off your list. Take a cliff top walk starting at Nash Point Lighthouse and enjoy the impressive views. Merthyr Mawr’s historic sand dunes and nature reserve sit along the River Ogmore with trails to explore the wildlife. You may recognise these dunes from the 1962 classic film, Lawrence of Arabia, as some sequences were filmed here. Other places to visit in the vale include the popular seaside resort of Barry Island – the home of Gavin and Stacey. Penarth village and esplanade boast high quality restaurants, cafés and independent shops. Cowbridge village also has a boutique independent feel and is home to an annual food festival. Bridgend town is also on your doorstep here, with a designer shopping outlet, restaurants and cinema - perfect for a day of retail therapy and relaxing!
