Set in 18 acres of beautiful rural countryside in the heart of Gower, this delightfully converted barn provides great family holiday accommodation. Adjoining the owners’ home, it is set in a relaxed and peaceful location. Full advantage is taken of the views from the decking area, which overlooks a fenced play area, fields, woodlands and a large wild flower meadow - as well as a pond with geese and ducks. This leads further on to a wooden summerhouse with a large deck overlooking a lake. This is truly a nature lover’s paradise, for young and old alike.
The Willows is ideally placed for exploring the Gower countryside, coastline and footpaths as it is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Nearby is Parc Le Breos, with its Roman burial grounds and pony trekking centre. Adjacent is the Three Cliffs Beach, which is overlooked by Pennard Castle and boasts an amazing view of the river winding down into the sea. A trip to Mumbles is well worth a visit, especially for those who enjoy fine cuisine. Mumbles is renowned for its collection of excellent restaurants and cafés, as well as being a traditional seaside town. One of the most curious landscapes in Gower is the reedy nature reserve around Oxwich Burrows, a flatland of salt and freshwater marshes. The marshes are dotted with pools and surrounded by ancient woodland which lead down to one of the most coveted beaches at Oxwich Bay. A local pub can be found nearby. Shop 1 mile.
