The Annex

The Annex is one of two properties that can be found surrounded by open countryside in the beautiful East Riding of Yorkshire and under 10 miles away from the coastal town of Withernsea. Attached to the owner’s main residence this beautifully presented holiday home is perfect for two looking for a relaxing break away.
Step inside via the utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, then on through into the galley style kitchen which offers a host of modern appliances and plenty of worktop space from which to prepare delicious evening meals. The large living room offers lovely views over the owner’s garden; and patio doors that lead out onto an enclosed raised decked area with additional seating. During the warmer months, this is the perfect spot for an al fresco breakfast whilst planning the day’s activities. A large sofa is ideally placed for a movie evening in and the country style dining table sits to one side. Across the hall is a modern bathroom with a large walk-in shower and heated towel rail. As the day draws to a close, retire to the kingsize double bedroom. Decorated in pretty tones and beautiful soft furnishings it provides a relaxing ambience for a great night’s sleep.
A shared enclosed paddock with a picnic bench can be found across the driveway. The flat, rural landscape that surrounds this peaceful holiday home offers miles of walking and cycling opportunities and some remarkable far reaching views. Many of the local villages offer historical landmarks including a lighthouse now housing a museum. The seaside town of Withernsea has a traditional promenade, a sand and pebble beach, tea rooms and restaurants. A visit to the nature reserve Spurn Point is a must, whilst further up the coast is the stunning RSPB Bempton Cliffs.
For a little culture head to the port city of Hull. Here you can find vibrant night life and a choice of theatres. Make The Annex the base for your Yorkshire holiday.
