Sound Of The Sea is on the edge of Rhosneigr, Anglesey. It's a detached house. The beach is about a five minute walk away, straight down the lane.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well equipped and finished to a good standard. There's an electric vehicle charger.
The stairs need a mention. They're the twisty, narrow cottage sort. They have lights on the steps, which helps. They wouldn't suit anyone with mobility issues.
Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor. One has bunk beds, the other has twins. There's a bathroom down there with a small bath that's good for kids, or you can use it as a shower. The main bedroom is upstairs. It's a kingsize with an ensuite that has a freestanding bath.
You've got a front garden with a view of the sea and patio doors from the living room. The back garden is enclosed and sheltered. It gets the sun. There's a barbecue and proper garden furniture out there.
The place has a bit of a sailing theme, with old charts on the walls. There's an open fireplace for cooler nights. The kitchen is modern and has everything you'd need. The owner leaves a welcome hamper with basics like tea, coffee, and washing up stuff.
Rhosneigr itself has a good beach with dunes and rock pools. There are a couple of shops, places to eat, and a pub. It's known for surfing and sailing.
You can pick up the Anglesey Coastal Path from the village. A nice walk is to follow it south to Aberffraw, past the old church in the sea. In the other direction, you can walk to RAF Valley and watch the planes.
Newborough Forest and Llanddwyn Island are about a 25 minute drive. It's a big forest with red squirrels and paths down to a huge beach. At low tide you can walk out to the island. For a longer day out, Plas Newydd is about half an hour away, and you can be in the middle of Snowdonia in under 40 minutes.
Facilities: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking on site.
