White Wisp
White Wisp is in Powmill, in Clackmannanshire. It used to be part of a farm steading. The views out over the fields to the Ochil Hills are very good. You get your own bit of garden with a sun deck, which is sheltered. It's quiet here.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own en-suite shower rooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has everything you need. The main living area is open plan.
You're about a mile from the village shop. The nearest pub and restaurant are seven miles away, so you'll likely drive for an evening out. The location is rural.
For walking, you can start right from the door. Loch Leven is nearby, good for a walk or some birdwatching at the RSPB's Vane Farm. There are plenty of golf courses a short drive away.
It's about half an hour's drive to Edinburgh or Perth, a bit further to Glasgow. Stirling, with the castle and Wallace Monument, is also within easy reach.
Facilities are all there: parking, bike storage, WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
