Tullibole Castle Longhouse
This is Tullibole Castle Longhouse. It's a one-bedroom cottage on the grounds of Tullibole Castle, near Drum in Perthshire. It's detached and all on one floor.
It sleeps two. One bedroom with an en-suite shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.
The main room has a wood-burning stove, wooden floors, and stone walls. The bedroom has a vaulted ceiling with beams. There's a conservatory with two glass walls that looks out towards the Ochil and Cleish Hills. You get the views but you also get the peacocks from the castle grounds wandering through the garden. The garden is enclosed.
You can walk around the castle grounds. There's woodland, a 16th-century moat, an 18th-century dovecote, and a memorial maze. The owner sometimes does tours of the main castle, and you can arrange to have meals there if you want.
The village is about a 25-minute walk away. It has a local pub.
For golf, Gleneagles, Muckhart, and Kinross are all nearby. Edinburgh, Stirling, and St Andrews are all under an hour's drive away.
Facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ and bike storage. No pets.
