The Hayloft
The Hayloft is a converted hayloft, as you'd guess. It's above an old stable block, so you go up an external staircase to get in. It feels a bit separate from everything, which is nice.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. The main living area is upstairs. That's where you get the views over the fields.
It's in Milnathort, near Kinross. It's quiet. The farm track leads down to it. You'll hear sheep and not much else.
There's a shared games room and a hard tennis court you can use. They're in the old farm steading. The court isn't Wimbledon standard, but it's fine for a hit about.
Loch Leven is about three miles away. You can walk around it. The RSPB's Vane Farm nature reserve is there. It's good for a stroll and some birdwatching. RSPB Vane Farm has details. Lochleven Castle is on the island. You need a boat to get to it.
Kinross has shops and things. Perth is about twenty minutes by car for bigger shops and restaurants. Edinburgh is under an hour if you need a city day.
Facilities: WiFi, washing machine, parking right outside. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding is included. No pets, sorry.
