Ashknowe Log Cabin Duncrievie

Ashknowe Log Cabin is one of three cabins here. It's on a farm just outside Duncrievie, up a private track. You get good views from the front, mainly over the fields and hills.

It's a one bedroom place, so it sleeps two. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything is on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about. It's open plan.

The cabin is modern inside. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can park right outside. There's a private patio area with furniture.

You can walk straight from the door into the farm fields and tracks. The owner leaves the meadows wild for wildlife. If you walk up the track behind the cabins, you get a clear view to the Ochil Hills and the Lomond Hills in Fife.

The local village, Glenfarg, is about three quarters of a mile away. It has a small shop for basics. The nearest pub and restaurant are about three and a half miles away. There are a few farm shops for local produce within a fifteen minute drive.

You're well placed for getting around. Perth is about a twenty minute drive. It has all the shops, Scone Palace, and leisure facilities. Falkland Palace is about seven miles away. For a day out, Edinburgh, Stirling Castle, and the beaches at St Andrews are all roughly twenty five miles in different directions.

If you're into outdoor stuff, there's golf, cycling, and fishing nearby. Glencorse Hill is popular with gliders, just a few miles from here.
