The Steading Cottage is on our farm near Glenfarg, in Perthshire. It's a single-storey cottage, so everything's on the ground floor. That's handy for accessibility.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been renovated inside, so it's warm and comfortable. There's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings. The view from the front is over fields and hills. No other houses in the way.
You're on a working farm, so you'll see sheep and maybe tractors going past. It's quiet though.
The village of Glenfarg is about two miles away. It's got a small shop and a play park. The nearest pub is four miles.
For a day out, Perth is about a 20 minute drive. St Andrews and the coast are under an hour. You can be in Edinburgh in around 40 minutes if you avoid the traffic. Loch Leven is close, good for a walk. The National Trust for Scotland has properties all over, like Falkland Palace nearby.
Facilities: it's got wifi, a washing machine, dishwasher, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one. We can't take pets.
