Fingask Log Cabin Duncrievie

Fingask Log Cabin is on a farm near Duncrievie in Perthshire. It's one of three identical cabins, but you're not on top of each other. Each one is detached with its own enclosed garden.

It's a bungalow, so everything's on one level. That's good if you don't want stairs. It sleeps two, in a double bedroom. One bathroom with a shower. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Wi-Fi is included. You can bring one dog.

The main thing is the view. You're up on a slope looking out over fields towards the Ochil Hills and the Lomond Hills. The farm keeps the meadows wild for wildlife. You can walk straight out from the door.

The village of Glenfarg is about three quarters of a mile away. It has a small paper shop. The nearest pub and restaurant is about three and a half miles. There are a few farm shops selling local stuff within a fifteen minute drive.

You're quite central here. Perth is about a twenty minute drive. That's where you'll find Scone Palace and bigger supermarkets. Falkland Palace is only about seven miles away. For a day out, you can get to Edinburgh, Stirling or the beach at St Andrews in roughly an hour.

If you like golf, there are courses all around. The area is good for cycling and fishing too.
