Fochy Cottage Milnathort

It's called Fochy Cottage. It's in Milnathort, Perthshire. Basically countryside around here.

Sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom downstairs. That's because it's an upside-down house. So the living room and kitchen are upstairs to get the views. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not just basic.

You've got your own patio. The big bit is the shared grounds. There's loads of woodland to wander in. There's a hard tennis court you can use and a games room with a pool table and table tennis. It's all there, just a bit dated but it works fine.

The stairs are a bit narrow. It's a converted mill, so that's how it is. There's parking right outside.

You're about three miles from Loch Leven. Good for fishing if that's your thing. The RSPB's Vane Farm nature reserve is right there on the loch shore. Lochleven Castle is on an island in the loch. That's where Mary Queen of Scots was locked up. You can get a boat out to it.

There's a shop and a pub that does food about two miles away in Scotlandwell. Kinross is close for more shops. Perth is about half an hour's drive for bigger supermarkets and things. Edinburgh is under an hour if you fancy a day in the city.

Included in the price: all the electricity, WiFi, bedding and towels. There's a washing machine. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.
