Gean Cottage is on our farm. It's a detached bungalow, so everything's on one level. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and comfortable but not luxurious.
The cottage is separate from the main farmhouse. You have your own garden, which is enclosed. It's a beef farm, so you'll see cows in the fields. It's quiet here.
The stairs mentioned in your example aren't relevant, as it's a bungalow. There's a walk-in shower in the bathroom. You have a washing machine, TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
You're about two miles from the nearest shop, pub, and restaurant in Rumbling Bridge. The best thing here is the walking. You can walk straight from the door down into the Rumbling Bridge gorge, or along to Muckhart Mill, right into the Ochil Hills. The Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park boundary is close.
For days out, Kinross is five miles away for shops. Loch Leven is there for walks or cycling. Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument are about a 40-minute drive. Doune Castle is similar, and they do good audio tours there. Knockhill Racing Circuit is only three miles away if that's your thing.
If you're a golfer, there are local courses around. The big ones like Gleneagles are within 40 minutes. For a different trip, the Japanese Garden at Cowden is about a 25-minute drive and is worth seeing.
