Old Stones is in Burnfoot, Glendevon. It's a detached cottage so you're not sharing walls with anyone. The garden is fully enclosed.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms which is handy. There's a secret door between the bedrooms, through a bookcase. The kids usually like that. The stairs are fine, no issues.
There's a wood burner in the lounge for cooler nights and a sun room at the back. The sun room looks out over the garden and the fields. It's a quiet spot.
You're right next to a Woodland Trust site. You can walk straight from the front door into the Ochil Hills. The paths are good.
The local pub is about a ten minute walk. They do food. For a bigger shop, you'd drive to Dollar or Muckhart.
Gleneagles is ten minutes away if you're golfing. There are other courses around too. The Japanese Garden at Cowden is about ten minutes drive the other way, it's peaceful.
Stirling, Perth, and Dunfermline are all within half an hour. Edinburgh and Glasgow are under an hour if you want a city day. The Motor Museum at Auchterarder is close, and there's trout fishing on Glendevon Reservoir.
Facilities: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for two cars on the gravel drive. No pets, sorry.
