Castle Campbell View
Castle Campbell View is on the north side of Dollar Lodge Park. It's a modern, detached lodge. You get the whole thing to yourselves.
The main thing is the view. You look out over a working farm, the town, and up to Castle Campbell and the Ochil Hills. It changes all the time with the weather. The French doors open onto a deck so you can sit outside.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one with a kingsize bed and an ensuite toilet. The other is a small twin room. There's one main shower room with a good sized shower. The living, dining and kitchen areas are all open plan.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean, modern and comfortable. Everything you'd need is there: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring one dog.
Dollar itself is a nice little town. Good for walks along the River Devon. There's a Co-op for groceries and a few places to eat.
Stirling is about twenty minutes away by car. The castle and the Wallace Monument are there. The view from the monument is worth the walk up. National Wallace Monument.
You're quite central here for day trips. Falkirk Wheel is about half an hour. The Kelpies are a bit further. You can get into Edinburgh or Glasgow in under an hour if you drive. Gleneagles is close, about fifteen minutes, if you're into golf or just want a look around. Fife and Perthshire are on your doorstep for more driving and walking.
