The Paddocks
The Paddocks is a detached holiday lodge on our family smallholding. It sits right on the edge of Forestmill in Clackmannanshire. The view from the deck is over our own paddock and fields. It’s quiet.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. It’s a modern building so the layout is open plan and it’s all on one level, which makes it accessible. The deck is private and gets the sun in the evening.
The place is kitted out for a week away. There’s a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can park right outside. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs.
You can walk straight out from the property. The Ochil Hills are on your doorstep for walks. If you’re bringing bikes, you can be on forest tracks quickly. Livery is available if you want to bring horses.
The village of Dollar is about ten minutes’ drive. It has shops, places to eat, and a pub. Castle Campbell is there, up in the Glen. It’s a good walk. For a day out, Stirling is under half an hour away. Edinburgh and Glasgow are both about 40 minutes by car.
