Devin Lodge is a detached place on the edge of Dollar, in Clackmannanshire. It looks out over the River Devon, and the Ochil Hills are right behind you.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one is a kingsize with an en-suite shower room, the other has twin beds. There's a family bathroom with a bath too. It's a 4 Star property, so it's well presented and comfortable. Everything's on one level, which is handy. The main living area is open plan.
You can walk into Dollar village in about ten minutes. It's got a couple of pubs, a restaurant, and a shop. The riverbank is right there if you just want to step outside.
The fishing rights are included. The river is stocked with trout, and you can see salmon at the weir upstream in autumn, usually around October.
It's good for walking straight from the door. The Ochils are there for more serious hikes. There are plenty of golf courses within a short drive, and Gleneagles is about fifteen miles away if you fancy that.
Outside, there's a large deck with a barbecue and furniture. The garden is enclosed, which is useful if you're bringing a dog. You can take one pet.
For facilities, it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
Useful links for the area: National Trust for Scotland and Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. The park visitor centre at Ben Lomond is about a 30 minute drive.
