The Orchard
The Orchard is one of two lodges we have here at Forestmill. It's detached, so you've got your own space. The main living area is all open plan. There are French doors that open out onto a private deck. You look out over the orchard and the fields beyond. It's quiet.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. The shower is a walk-in one. There's a washing machine, and the bedding and towels are included. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. The whole place is on one level, so no stairs to worry about.
You can bring up to two pets. There's parking right outside.
You're right in the countryside here. If you walk out the door, you're straight onto paths for walking or cycling. If you have a horse, we can arrange livery. You can hack from the property.
The town of Dollar is about a mile and a half away. It's got shops, places to eat, and a couple of pubs. Castle Campbell is right there in Dollar Glen, which is a good walk. The National Trust for Scotland looks after it. There's also the Japanese Garden nearby.
You can drive to Stirling, Edinburgh, or Glasgow in about 40 minutes. Perth is a bit closer. Scone Palace is up that way. For a day at the coast, it's about 21 miles to the nearest beach.
If you want to book for a bigger group, The Orchard and The Paddocks next door can be booked together. They sleep ten in total.
