Salmon Leap Lodge is just outside Dollar, in Clackmannanshire. It's a detached lodge, all on one level. You get your own decking and a bit of lawn out the front, which looks out towards the Ochil Hills. You can hear the River Devon from the garden.
It sleeps three, in two bedrooms. There's one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The living area is open plan with French doors onto the deck.
The village of Dollar is about a five minute walk. There's a couple of shops, a pub, cafes and a museum. You can walk right from the door along the river, or up through Dollar Glen to Castle Campbell. That's a proper walk, up a gorge. The National Trust for Scotland looks after it.
If you fancy a drive, Stirling is about twenty minutes away. The castle is good. The Wallace Monument is there too. Gleneagles is about twenty minutes in the other direction if you're golfing.
For facilities: it's got parking, wifi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
