This is Pine Meadows Retreat. It's a lodge on Wilberfoss Holiday Park, near Barmby Moor. The park is quiet. You've got your own bit of garden at the back, and it's detached so there's no one right on top of you.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, a double and a twin, and one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The living area is all open plan. There's a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and the bedding and towels are included.
The main thing out the back is the hot tub. It's in the private garden. There's also a BBQ and parking right outside.
We take up to two dogs. There are other lodges nearby if you're a bigger group and need to book more than one.
Wilberfoss village is a short walk. There's a shop, a butcher, and a pub that does food. The bus into York stops right outside the park gates if you don't want to drive.
For a day out, York is about 25 minutes by car. You've got the Minster, the Railway Museum, and the Jorvik Centre there. The Yorkshire Wolds are right here for walks or cycling. National Trust Yorkshire has a few places nearby like Beningbrough Hall.
If you go east for 40 minutes or so, you hit the coast at Bridlington and Scarborough. Castle Howard is a drive away, and there's a golf course locally.
That's about it. It's a straightforward place to stay.
