Fern Cottage

Fern Cottage is in Barmby Moor, near Pocklington. It's a new place, set back from the road with a fair bit of garden around it. The garden is fully enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs. There's a hot tub on the patio.

It sleeps six. Three upstairs bedrooms, and there's a twin room on the ground floor as well. The bathroom is a shower room. There's a separate toilet upstairs off the main bedroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything is clean and fairly new.

The kitchen is a good size with a table, and there's a dishwasher and a washing machine. The living room has a big sofa. One of the bedrooms upstairs has a sloped ceiling, so watch your head if you're tall.

There's a Thai restaurant you can walk to. The village of Pocklington is a couple of miles away. It has supermarkets and a market on Tuesdays. There's a bus stop right opposite the cottage that goes into York or to the coast.

York is about a 30 minute drive. You've got the Minster, the Jorvik Centre, and all the shops. For days out, Flamingo Land is up near Malton, and you've got York Maze and Piglets Adventure Farm nearby. The Yorkshire Wolds are right on the doorstep for walking. Castle Howard is about twenty minutes away.

Facilities: parking for a couple of cars, bike storage, the hot tub, BBQ, all bedding and towels are included. It's a detached house. You can bring up to two dogs.
