Blue Bell
The Blue Bell is one of two shepherd's huts on our working farm here near Pocklington. It's a detached hut, so you're on your own out there. The view is just fields.
It's for two people. One room, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's done up nicely inside, everything's clean and works. It's glamping, so it's compact, but it's got what you need. The bed is in the main living space.
You've got French doors that open out onto your own patio area with seating and a BBQ. The hot tub is next to the hut, for your use. It's set to one side so it's private.
You're welcome to bring one dog. The farm is rural, so there are fields and tracks for walks right from the door. Pocklington town is a few minutes in the car. It's a market town with shops, pubs, and a proper square. For a big garden visit, Burnby Hall and Gardens is just there.
York is about half an hour's drive. That's your main day out for history and the Minster. The Yorkshire Wolds are all around here for driving or walking. The coast, like Bridlington, or the North York Moors are within an hour if you fancy a longer trip.
Facilities: There's a kitchen area with a gas hob and a combi microwave oven. TV, electric stove for heat. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right next to the hut. There's another hut, the Mayflower, nearby if two groups wanted to come together.
