Harwood Lodge

Harwood Lodge is on a park called Florida Keys in Wilberfoss, near Barmby Moor. It's a detached lodge, so no one's attached to the sides of you. The park is quiet, mostly permanent homes with a few holiday lets like this one mixed in.

It sleeps up to six. There are two bedrooms, one twin and one double, and a sofa bed in the living area. There's one bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern and clean.

The living space is all open plan. Kitchen, dining, and sitting area together. French doors open out onto a raised deck. The hot tub is out there on the deck, it's private to you. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs. You can bring up to three.

Facilities are what you'd expect. Washing machine, TV with Netflix, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. Parking is right outside the lodge.

On the park itself, there's a restaurant at the entrance. There's a local pub in the village. The area is fairly flat, good for walking. There's fishing nearby and a golf course not far away.

York is the main draw. It's about a 20-minute drive in. You've got the Minster, the Shambles, the Walls, the Jorvik Centre. The racecourse is there too if that's your thing. Further out, the coast at Bridlington or Filey is about an hour's drive.
