This is Alabama Lodge. It's on Duck Wing Holiday Park near Barmby Moor. It's a modern lodge, detached. You get the whole thing to yourselves.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles. One has its own shower room, the other uses the main bathroom. That bathroom has a big freestanding bath. The place has a 5 Star rating, so it's well kitted out.
The main room is open plan. Kitchen, dining, living area. There's a log burner, which is nice in the cooler months. The kitchen has what you'd need: dishwasher, washing machine, that sort of thing.
Outside there's an enclosed courtyard with a private hot tub. There's parking right there.
The park is quiet. Pocklington is a few minutes drive for shops and pubs. York is about half an hour away if you want the city. The Yorkshire Wolds are right there for walking. Burnby Hall Gardens in Pocklington is worth a look if you like gardens.
Facilities: WiFi, Smart TVs, bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. You can bring up to two dogs.
