Greenlands Farmhouse

Greenlands Farmhouse is in Barmby Moor. It's a detached farmhouse, about 150 years old. It sits in its own grounds, so you've got plenty of space. The garden has a stream running through it.

The house sleeps fourteen. Seven bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's a big, old house, so the layout is what you'd expect. There are steps between some rooms.

Outside, there's a solar-heated swimming pool and a hot tub that seats six. The pool is open from May to September, weather depending. The garden is enclosed.

You're allowed one dog. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and parking on site.

The local pub is two miles away in Barmby Moor village. It serves food.

For walking, Allerthorpe Common is under a mile away. It's Forestry England land, so there are good paths. The Yorkshire Wolds are right here for longer walks. Pocklington is a few miles away for shops.

York is about twelve miles, so a twenty minute drive. You've got the Minster, the Railway Museum, the walls, all of it.

In the other direction, Beverley is worth a visit for the minster and the market. The coast at Hornsea or Bridlington is about forty minutes' drive.
