Greenlands Farmhouse

Greenlands Farmhouse is near Pocklington in East Yorkshire. It's a big, detached house that's over a hundred years old. It's on its own land, with a stream and gardens around it.

It sleeps up to fourteen people in seven bedrooms. There are three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and comfortable. The stairs inside are quite steep, just so you know.

The main thing is the outside space. There's a heated outdoor swimming pool and a covered hot tub that fits six people. The garden is fully enclosed, which is good if you've got a dog, as we take one pet. There's parking for a few cars and an electric vehicle charger.

It's a quiet spot. The nearest pub or restaurant is about two miles away in Pocklington. Pocklington is a nice little market town with shops.

York is about half an hour's drive. It's an easy day out for the Minster, the Railway Museum, or just walking the walls. For a walk right from the door, Allerthorpe Common is less than a mile away. It's good for a proper stretch of the legs.

Inside, it's got what you'd need for a big group: a dishwasher, washing machine, wood burner, and TVs. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.

If you're looking for things to do further out, the Welcome to Yorkshire site has ideas. For historical places, English Heritage in Yorkshire lists a lot, or the National Trust for Yorkshire for houses and gardens.
