Jasmine Lodge
Jasmine Lodge is on Florida Keys Holiday Park. That's near Wilberfoss, just outside Pocklington. It's detached, so you've got your own space. It sleeps four in two bedrooms. You have the garden to yourselves. It's got one bathroom with a bath. The whole place is on the ground floor, no steps.
We've just had it all refurbished. The living area is open plan with high ceilings and big French doors. It feels quite spacious. They let out onto an enclosed deck. There's a modern kitchen and a dining table. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.
The park is established and quiet. It's a good base. Wilberfoss village has a shop and a couple of places to eat. Pocklington is a few minutes' drive. It's a proper market town with shops, cafes, and pubs. You can get most things you need there.
York is about a 25-minute drive. That's where most people head. The park and ride is easy. The Minster is the obvious one, but the Railway Museum is great, even if you're not that into trains. Jorvik and the Castle Museum are good if it rains.
Castle Howard is about half an hour away. It's a big stately home with gardens. The Yorkshire Wolds are right on your doorstep for walks. The North York Moors National Park is maybe 45 minutes to an hour if you want heather and bigger hills.
Facilities: There's a washing machine, WiFi, TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot. Sorry, no pets.
