Ferry House is a detached bungalow in Bonawe, on the shore of Loch Etive. It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main thing about it is the view. The living room has big patio doors that look straight out over the loch. You can walk out from there onto the decking. There's more decking down by the water. It's quiet.
The living space is open plan. There's a wood-burning stove. The kitchen has a dishwasher. There's a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. There's parking and an electric vehicle charger. There's also a small study with WiFi if you need to work.
The location is rural. You're about a 15 minute drive from Oban. Oban is where you get the ferries to Mull, Iona, and the other islands. CalMac Ferries has the timetables.
Glencoe is about half an hour away by car. The Glencoe Scotland site has ideas for walks and history. For more general walks and scenery, the National Trust for Scotland Glencoe page is useful.
If you're outdoorsy, you can walk or cycle from the door. There's local fishing and horse riding. You can get onto the water from the shore here for kayaking.
No pets, sorry.
