Clematis Cottage is in Taynuilt, Argyll. It's attached to the side of a big old house called Bonawe House. You're right on the edge of the village, but it feels quiet and private here. The views look down through the trees to Loch Etive.
It's a single-storey place, so everything's on the ground floor. Sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. They've done it up nicely inside with wooden floors. The bed is a super king, and you can split it into two singles if you want.
The living space is open plan. There's a coal-effect fire for cooler evenings. Outside, there's a bit of seating where you can sit out if the sun's on it. The gardens are shared with the other holiday lets here. You're about half a mile from the shore at Loch Etive.
You can walk into Taynuilt village in about fifteen minutes. There's a pub that does food, a shop, a café, and a railway station. Oban is about twelve miles away for bigger shops and the ferry port.
In terms of things to do, you're well placed. The Bonawe Iron Works is just up the road. The Argyll Forest Park has loads of walks. You can drive to Glencoe or Fort William in under an hour. Cruachan Power Station, the one inside the mountain, is nearby too. If you're into gardens, Arduaine Garden is a lovely spot.
What's here: there's a dishwasher, wifi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. We allow up to two dogs. There's also an electric vehicle charger.
