Clematis Cottage

Clematis Cottage is next to the big stone house you see in the photos, Bonawe House. It is attached at one end. Everything is on one floor, so no stairs to worry about.

It's for two people. There's one bedroom with a big bed and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place has been done up inside, so it's modern but in an old building. The floors are wood. You can see Loch Etive through the trees at the front.

The living area is open plan. There's a wood burner that looks like a coal fire. Outside, there's a table and chairs for sitting out.

The village of Taynuilt is about a 15-minute walk away. It has a shop, a post office, a café, and a pub that does food. There's a hotel with a restaurant too. The train station is there, which is handy.

You're right by Loch Etive. For a day out, Oban is about 12 miles up the road. You can get ferries from there to places like Mull. The area is good for walking and wildlife. You can drive to Glencoe or Fort William in under an hour.

There’s parking right at the cottage. You can bring up to two dogs. There’s an electric vehicle charger and a place to store bikes.
