This is the Edwardian Wing. It's part of Bonawe House, which is an 18th century house near Taynuilt in Argyll. It's a separate wing on the right-hand side, two floors just for you. The setting is quiet, up a private drive with mature trees and gardens. The main view is over Loch Etive, which is right there.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place has been done up to keep the Edwardian feel, so there's an oak-panelled sitting room with a large fireplace and a piano. The windows are big so you get the views from inside. The kitchen has a range cooker. You have your own seating area out the front. The wider gardens are shared with the other holiday lets here.
Taynuilt village is about a 15 minute walk away. It's got a shop, a post office, a butcher, a café, and a pub that does food. The railway station is there too if you need it. Oban is 12 miles west. You can get most things there, and the ferries to Mull and other islands leave from there.
You're well placed for getting out. The coast path and access to Loch Etive are very close. Bonawe Historic Ironworks is just down the road. The Cruachan Power Station, the one inside the mountain, is a few miles away. Glencoe and Fort William are about an hour's drive north for more serious walks or skiing in winter.
For facilities: all bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. There's parking and an electric vehicle charger. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
