Courtyard

This is Courtyard, in Taynuilt. It's a one bedroom apartment for two people, on the first floor of an old house called Bonawe House. The stairs up to it are steep and a bit narrow, just so you know.

You get a view over the gardens from the living room and bedroom. The place is small but it's been done up nicely. It has everything you'd need: a kitchen, a comfy bed, and a bathroom. We provide the bedding and towels. You can park right outside, and there's an electric vehicle charger.

The house is just outside the village, so it's quiet. It's about a fifteen minute walk to the village centre, or a couple of minutes in the car. Taynuilt has a shop, a post office, a butcher, and a couple of places to eat. The railway station is there too if you're coming by train.

You're close to Loch Etive here. The shore is about half a mile away. Oban is 12 miles down the road for bigger shops or to get a ferry to Mull. If you like walking, you're right at the foot of Ben Cruachan. The Bonawe Historic Iron Furnace is practically on the doorstep. The National Trust for Scotland has sites nearby if you're planning days out.

In terms of things to do, you've got the Loch Etive for kayaking or just scenery. There's a golf course in the village. For a bigger day out, Glencoe or Fort William are under an hour's drive. You might see eagles or otters around here, but no promises.

Facilities are all listed. There's wifi, a TV, a dishwasher. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
