Courtyard Taynuilt

Courtyard is a one-bedroom apartment for two, up on the first floor of Bonawe House. It's a proper old house, built in the 1700s, and the apartment is in one corner of it. The rating is 4 Star. It's comfortable and clean.

The stairs to get up to it are steep and narrow, just so you know. It's an old building. Once you're up, the living room looks out over the gardens and the bedroom has a view too.

You're about a fifteen minute walk from Taynuilt village. It's got a shop, a post office, a cafe, and a pub that does food. The train station is there too, which is handy. Oban is about twelve miles away if you need more shops or want to get a ferry. You can get to Mull from there.

The house grounds are shared with the other holiday lets here. There's seating out the front and the gardens are quite wild and wooded. Loch Etive is very close. You can walk down to the shore.

If you're driving, there's a lot within half an hour. Oban, obviously. The Cruachan power station inside the mountain is interesting. There's Bonawe Iron Works just along the road, which is an Historic Scotland site. You can be in Glencoe in under an hour for the big mountain scenery.

It has parking on site and an electric vehicle charger. Wifi, TV, bedding and towels are all included. There's a dishwasher. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need one.
