Garden Cottage is in Taynuilt in Argyll. It's on the ground floor of the old courtyard building belonging to Bonawe House. The place looks out over the gardens and you can see Loch Etive.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms, and there are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The whole place is on one level, so no stairs. You can bring up to two dogs.
The cottage is quiet and a bit tucked away. You've got your own outside seating area right outside the patio doors. The gardens are shared with the other holiday lets here, but they're big and wooded so it doesn't feel crowded.
You can walk into Taynuilt village in about fifteen minutes. There's a pub that does food, a hotel with a restaurant, a shop, a post office, and a railway station. Everything you need is there.
Oban is about twelve miles away, so twenty minutes in the car. That's where you'll find more shops and places to eat, and the ferry terminal for trips to Mull, Iona, and other islands.
There's a lot to do around here if you like being outdoors. Loch Etive is right there for kayaking or fishing. You can walk from the door. For a day out, the Bonawe Iron Works historic site is very close. The Cruachan power station inside the mountain is a unique visit. Glencoe and Fort William are under an hour's drive for serious walking or climbing.
For facilities, it's got everything you'd expect. WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. There's parking right outside and an electric vehicle charger.
