Blackmill Cottage
Blackmill Cottage is in Taynuilt. It's a semi-detached cottage that's been done up. The village is quiet but you've got the basics close by.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is useful. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything is clean and in good order. The stairs are a normal sort of cottage stairs.
You've got a garden that's enclosed, which is good if you've got kids or a dog. There's parking right there.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. There's a woodburning stove, which is nice when it's cold. It's got WiFi, a TV, a washing machine and a dishwasher. All the bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The shop is about a ten minute walk. There's a tearoom the same distance. For a pub or a restaurant, you're looking at a couple of miles. The golf course is about a mile away.
Location wise, you're well set for getting about. Oban is a short drive. You can get the ferries from there to Mull and Iona. It's a proper working town with a distillery you can visit.
If you like walking or cycling, there's a lot of forest trails around here. For history, Bonawe Iron Works is nearby. The Cruachan power station inside the mountain is worth a trip if you're interested in that sort of thing.
