Etive View is a first floor apartment in Bonawe House, which is an 18th century house near Taynuilt. The house is between Loch Etve and Ben Cruachan. It's not remote, but it's very quiet.
The apartment sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The space used to be the nursery, so the ceilings are a bit lower in places, which is normal for an old house. You have to go up two flights of stairs to get to it. The stairs are part of the original house, so they're steep and a bit narrow.
The main thing is the view. Every room at the front looks out over the garden and Loch Etive. You can sit in the living room and just watch the water.
Taynuilt village is about a fifteen minute walk away. There's a shop, a post office, a cafe, and a pub that serves food. The train station is there too, which is handy.
Oban is about twelve miles away. That's where you'll find most of the shops, and the ferries to the islands like Mull.
If you're driving, you can get to a lot from here. Bonawe Historic Ironworks is right nearby. The Cruachan Power Station inside the mountain is a popular visit. Glencoe and Fort William are under an hour's drive for walking or climbing.
For facilities, it has pretty much everything: WiFi, TV, a dishwasher, and parking. There's an electric vehicle charger on site. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. It's one of a few properties in the main house, so you share the entrance and the gardens.
