Point Park

Point Park is a bungalow in Taynuilt, right on Loch Etive. The water is about five metres from your front door. It's detached, so no shared walls. The garden is enclosed.

It was all redone in 2021. It sleeps six in three bedrooms. All the beds can be doubles if you need that. There are two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well looked after.

The big thing is the view. You look straight out over the loch to the mountains. You get direct access to the beach. We've seen seals and otters from the window. The neighbours are quiet.

Inside, there's a kitchen with a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a dining table for eight. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. We also put in a small gym room with a treadmill and some weights. It's there if you want it.

You can walk to the 9-hole golf course in a few minutes. The village of Taynuilt is about a mile away. It has a shop, post office, and a restaurant. The local pub is the same distance.

Oban is a 20-minute drive. That's where you'll find bigger shops, lots of seafood places, and the distillery. Ferries go from there to Mull and Iona.

For a day out, Glencoe is about half an hour by car. Fort William and Glen Nevis are also within a 30 minute drive. The whole area is good for walking, cycling, or fishing.

Facilities: WiFi, TV, bedding and towels included. There's a cot available. Parking for two cars on the gravel drive. We accept up to four well-behaved dogs.
