Edward Terrace Cottage

Edward Terrace Cottage is in Rhyd Ddu village. It's a semi-detached cottage that sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom.

It's got a four star rating. That means it's comfortable and well kept. It's not grand, but it works. The place is clean and warm.

The lounge and kitchen are open plan. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The kitchen has what you need for cooking.

The garden is at the back. It's fully enclosed. The village has dark sky status, so if the night is clear you can see a lot of stars. There's a gate at the bottom of the garden. It opens directly onto the path for the Rhyd Ddu Path up Snowdon. It's a quiet route, less busy than some others. The Snowdon Ranger path is also nearby.

You can walk from the door. The Nantlle Ridge, Mynedd Mawr, and the slate trail are all accessible. Beddgelert Forest has lower level walks.

The local pub is a short walk away. The Welsh Highland Railway station is about 150 metres from the cottage. You can get the steam train to Porthmadog or Caernarfon from there.

Beddgelert village is about a ten minute drive. It's a nice spot by the river with a couple of pubs and some shops. There's a multi-use path you can walk or cycle from Rhyd Ddu to Beddgelert.

Llanberis is within a thirty minute drive. You can visit the National Slate Museum there or take the Snowdon Mountain Railway. The beach at Dinas Dinlle is about twenty minutes away by car.

Facilities include a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are provided. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking.
