Maes Derlwyn
Maes Derlwyn is a mid-terraced cottage in Llanberis. It sleeps five, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.
The garden is at the back. It's got a bit of a view towards the mountain. There's a washing machine and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
The front door opens into the main living area. It's open plan. There's a separate second living room upstairs, which is handy if someone wants a bit of quiet.
Llanberis is right in Snowdonia National Park. Padarn Lake is a five minute walk away. You can hire a rowing boat there in the summer.
For Snowdon, the Llanberis Path starts at the end of the village. It's the longest route up but it's steady. The Snowdon Mountain Railway station is also in the village if you'd prefer not to walk.
The slate museum is just up the road and it's free to walk around. The Electric Mountain visitor centre is there too for tours.
In under thirty minutes you can drive to Caernarfon for the castle, or to Beddgelert. The coast at Caernarfon Bay is about twenty minutes away.
There are a couple of pubs in the village that do food. The shop is a short walk. Most people come here for the walking, climbing, or biking.
