Bohemia Cottage is out in the countryside, near Tunbridge Wells. It’s about a ten minute drive to the town. The place used to be a farm building for dogs, now it's a cottage.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms, but one of them is a mezzanine platform over the living area. You can have it as a double or two singles. There's one bathroom, but the shower is separate to the toilet. That's just how it's laid out.
The main room is open plan. There's a wood burner for chilly evenings. French doors open onto a private courtyard garden, which is nice. Beyond that are bigger gardens and some woods you can walk in.
The hosts live in a separate house on the property. They're there if you need anything, otherwise they'll leave you to it.
It's a 4 Star place. You've got the basics covered: washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We take up to three dogs. The rating reflects that it's comfortable but not modern luxury, it's a conversion.
For things to do, the National Trust has a few places nearby, like Scotney Castle. Tunbridge Wells has the Pantiles for a wander. If you want to go further, you can get to the coast at Hastings in about half an hour, or into London in just over an hour by train from the town.
