Tir-Y-Coed
Tir-Y-Coed is in Cadole, just outside Mold in Flintshire. It's a detached house, so no one's attached to you. Sleeps six, three bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, which is good. It's comfortable, not just basic.
You get a big garden, fully enclosed. Good for kids or a dog. We take one pet. There's parking right there.
Inside, there's a living room with an open fire. The kitchen has a range cooker and a dishwasher. There's a washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The location is handy. You can walk to a couple of pubs and places to eat from the house. For a day out, Mold is five minutes away. It's a market town with shops.
You can get to a lot of places within an hour's drive. Llandudno and the Conwy coast are about 45 minutes. Chester is maybe half an hour. Snowdonia is under an hour. Liverpool and Manchester are about the same if you want a city. The Visit Wales North Wales site is useful for planning.
The nearest proper beach is about 20 miles, around Prestatyn way. For castles, Denbigh Castle isn't far, and there's always Conwy.
That's about it. You've got space, it's in a quiet spot, and you can go exploring from here.
