Voelas Cottage Annexe Pontybodkin

Voelas Cottage Annexe is down the lane from our house in Pontybodkin. It sleeps three, two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, which just means it's in good order and everything works.

It's an annexe, so you're on your own but we're next door if you need anything. There's parking right outside.

Inside it's simple. The living room and kitchen are all one space downstairs. Upstairs there's a double room and a single room. The stairs are fine, not too steep.

The garden is shared. You can use the patio area. We've got bike storage if you need it.

There are a couple of pubs in the village you can walk to. One does food. Mold is about five miles away. It's a proper market town with shops and cafes.

For a walk, Loggerheads Country Park is about a fifteen minute drive. The Erddig estate is good for a day out, that's half an hour. The Offa's Dyke Path is nearby if you like longer walks.

If you're cycling, Llandegla Forest is fifteen minutes away. The Clwydian Range is about twenty five minutes.

Wrexham's football ground is twenty minutes drive if you wanted to see a match. The coast at Prestatyn is about forty five minutes.

Chester is half an hour away if you fancy a city day. The zoo and the shopping outlet are out that way.

Facilities are all listed. WiFi, TV, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets.
