You're right on the edge of the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can walk straight onto the hills from here. Loggerheads Country Park is a five minute drive. There's good walking all around.
In terms of facilities, it has a wood burning stove, WiFi, a TV, and parking right outside. All the bedding and towels are included. There's no charge for electricity. It's decorated for Christmas if you book over that period.
