The Bellringers Cottage is in Llandegla, Denbighshire. It's opposite the village church, which is where the name comes from. It used to be the home of the bell ringer.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable. It's a proper cottage, so it's got exposed beams and stone walls. The stairs are a bit steep, as you'd expect. There's an inglenook fireplace in the living room with a multi-fuel burner.
The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. You can bring up to two. It's got a washing machine, wifi, and bedding and towels are included.
The village is small. There's a community-run shop and café a few doors down. They do good coffee. The church opposite sometimes offers tea to visitors. The pub is a five-minute walk away.
If you're into mountain biking, the Llandegla Forest trails are right here. It's a big centre for that. For walking, the Offa's Dyke Path passes very close by. The Clwydian Range is on your doorstep for more walks. You can drive to Chester in about half an hour for shopping or to see the city walls. Llangollen is over the Horseshoe Pass, maybe 25 minutes. You can get a steam train from there on the Llangollen Railway.
