Sisial Y Gwynt

Sisial Y Gwynt is in Llanarmon yn Ial, which is near the border with England in Flintshire. It's a detached house, converted from a chapel a good while ago. It's on one level, which is handy.

It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and comfortable without being high-end. The master bedroom is a good size, and one of the double bedrooms has its own toilet, which is unusual but useful. You can see the hills from most of the windows.

The living room has a wood burning stove. The kitchen is modern enough and has a dishwasher and washing machine. There's a dining table for six. The garden is enclosed, mostly lawn, and it gets the sun.

The village has a shop and a pub that does food, both a few minutes' walk away. They're fine. The property is next to a graveyard, which is very well kept and quiet.

You're right on the edge of the Clwydian Range. The Clwydian Range has all the walking you could want, including Moel Famau and the Offa's Dyke Path. For a change of scene, Chester is about a 25-minute drive for shopping and the Roman walls. The North Wales coast, like Prestatyn, is about half an hour away.

In terms of what's here, there's parking, WiFi, the wood burner, all bedding and towels are included, and there's storage for bikes if you bring them. No pets allowed, sorry.

A couple of links for planning: the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley AONB site is good for maps, and National Trust Clwydian Range for their local places.
