This is St Mary's Victorian Chambers in Mold. It's a townhouse, Victorian of course, and it’s on three floors. It sleeps up to seven and has four bedrooms and one bathroom.
The key thing is it's been restored. They've kept a lot of the original features like the high ceilings, fireplaces and sash windows. The entrance hall is quite something, with the old tiled floor. The bathroom on the first floor is big, with a large shower and a copper bath.
It’s at the top end of Mold town centre. You can walk to the shops, pubs and cafes. There's a patio out the back from the kitchen.
Being in Mold means you're quite central for getting about. Chester is about a 20 minute drive. Liverpool is under an hour. For the coast, Llandudno and Conwy are maybe 45 minutes to an hour away, depending on traffic.
Locally, you've got the Clwydian Range right there for walking. The National Trust's Chirk Castle is about half an hour south. The English Heritage site at Penycloddiau hill fort is nearby too.
Facilities are what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, parking. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed. It has a 4 Star rating.
